Tilma Group helps Councils, tourism business owners, and event organisers to finesse and improve their tourism award submissions.
Our support is based on our decade of experience in writing successful submissions, judging and mentoring entrants at the Vanuatu and NSW Tourism Awards, and mock judging submissions to suggest improvements for Queensland Tourism Industry Council.
Tourism award submissions support annual business planning and provide feedback from industry experts on how your business could improve in areas such as goal setting, risk management, marketing, customer service, and environmental and social sustainability.

Process
Tilma Group provides up-front guidance to clients on how to answer the submission questions.
Clients write a draft of their award submission (to +/- 10% of the final word count).
Tilma Group reviews the draft and provides comprehensive feedback on how the submission could be improved
Tilma Group returns the draft to the client to complete and submit to the online awards portal.
The last step is celebrating wins with our clients, and providing suggestions on how they can leverage their award for maximum benefit.
Fee: $750 + GST

In 2021, the three submissions we wrote with clients resulted in Gold at the Australian and Queensland Tourism Awards (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Tourism), Gold at the NT Tourism Awards (Major Festivals and Events), and Bronze at the Queensland Tourism Awards (Festivals and Events) .
Submission reviews we provided to clients in 2021 resulted in Silver at the Australian Tourism Awards and Gold at the NSW Tourism Awards (Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries category), Silver in the WA Tourism Awards (Excellence in Local Government), and Bronze at the NSW Tourism Awards (Tourism Marketing & Campaigns).
